" Creating spirits must be in my family’s DNA, in some ways! My father, who ran a modest business selling flavored rums made with fruits, herbs, and spices from Mauritius, served as the inspiration for my early love of manufacturing spirits. I remember that when he used to carry his handcrafted rums to customers' doorsteps, the weight of all the bottles in his trunk nearly broke his car once! Traveling around the island was definitely an adventure back then, with only a few shops available! Being a youngster, I kept these wonderful memories with me into adolescence, and it felt almost natural for me to follow in my father's footsteps. "
